Us
Please allow me to introduce myself. My
name is Jago Holmes and I am the author and creator
of this marathon training program - 'Marathon Training For Beginners.' I am
also the owner and principal trainer here at New
Image Personal Training in Halifax, England, one of the North's largest
independently owned personal training companies.
We
regularly work with over 150 clients each week in our exclusive 1 to 1
studios.
I am
a fully qualified
and experienced personal
trainer. My company, New Image Personal Training has been in operation for
the past 10 years. We consistently get great results from our one to one clients and I want to
share my knowledge and success with you now.
I
have written many newspaper and magazine articles for local press as well as
creating a range of digital eBooks and weight loss packages. I regularly present weight
loss seminars as well as running my acclaimed '8 week weight loss
challenge'.
I
studied at the University of Leeds, completing my training with YMCA in 2000 after 3
years when I attained the YMCA Personal
Trainer award - one of the highest and most
respected qualifications available in the UK for Personal Trainers.
As a personal trainer I often work with clients
who want to start running seriously and one thing that regularly comes up is a desire and a
dream of completing a marathon.
But one of the biggest problems I find that most
runners face is being able to follow and commit the time to using an effective and
structured marathon training program.
And
this is a real problem, but one that needed fixing so that my clients could take care of their
other responsibilities in life like children, work and family to name but a few and still manage to
spend enough time training so they continued to make progress and get
fitter.
So I spent 6 months planning and
researching this new program...
It needed to educate at the same time as
being easy to follow.
It needed to take up minimal time, something
which most runners have little of.
It needed to bring about fast results in the quickest time
possible.
It needed to slot right in to
a busy and hectic lifestyle so anyone can do it!
...and I then set about designing this program, using all of the hands
on personal training experience I'd gathered over the years and with the help of a number of
clients who were training for or had previously completed marathons, I tested, refined and improved the
system until I finally created the PERFECT solution.
A
complete marathon training program which describes in detail exactly how to safely
and progressively train for a marathon in the shortest
time physically possible.

risks associated with endurance running.
